Members of the Ride to Remember team got the chance to present a cheque to Ontario Police College Director Bruce Herridge (centre) for the Path of Honour, a living memorial to fallen police officers.
The path was created in 2007 and is lined with one tree for each fallen officer in Ontario. A commitment was made by members of the Niagara Regional Police Service when they created the Ride to Remember 17 years ago to help maintain this symbol of the sacrifices officers have made for their communities. This commitment remains stronger than ever, with the support of the more than 120 cyclists who make up the Ride to Remember team.
