2017 Ride to Remember Commemorative Video

The 2017 Ride to Remember was one for the record books. Along with record-breaking temperatures, we had more riders and raised more money for the Canadian Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial than ever before.

We were also honoured to be joined by Kingston Police Service Staff Sergeant Chris Scott and Doug and Layne Scott, uncle, father and brother of slain RCMP Constable Douglas Scott.

Canadian Tire once again stepped up as a corporate sponsor and partnered with the Ride to Remember and Brockville Police Service to host a bike rodeo, that saw more than 40 kids receive new bikes. It was a great opportunity for officers to engage with youth and our community in a fun, interactive way. A definite highlight!

We also welcomed new corporate sponsor Motorola Solutions. Along with a financial donation, Motorola captured our journey from Alymer to Ottawa. Take a look at a quick recap of the 2017 ride and what it means to our team.
